July 3

Lupi’s Enchiladas

Waterworld, water club—Nightsuit party at the top, beautiful women everywhere

Went for a beach walk at night

Sat in the hot tub, fist night

Sahana gave Shasank a nice massage

July 4

Drove to Ponce

Visited Babos fire station, had Kings Ice Cream- Tasty

Walked up the lighthouse, very windy

Drove to Salinas

Human Misery

Sat on logs

Shank took a picture of Aiswarya at a store nearby

Dinner Senor Frogs

Sang Bon Jovi “Living on a Prayer”

Drank in Town square (San Juan)

Video taped all of us in Town Square; we acted like we were married couples.

Talked about relationships on the bench, sipping down rum & cokes.

July5

Drove to El Yunke rainforest

Got lost

Went to Bob and Sue’s house cabin in the middle of the forest- got lost

Went to a river on the way to a hike, and camera cover got lost, but Sahana eventually found it

La coca hike was closed, so went to La mina and hiked to the waterfall

Sanaha and Soni didn’t hike to the waterfall cuz they were afraid of being attacked by poison oak

Drove back in the forest and climbed Tower De Parrat, beautiful view of El Yonke

Took pixs in front of those characters

Went to Lolita’s for dinner

Soni and Sahana ordered simple, delicious enchiladas, while Raj and Shish ventured unsuccessfully to try Soy Enchiladas. NEVER try SOY MEAT

After 2 hours of waiting for our horrible food, we rushed to go Kayaking

On the way there, Shasank go pulled over by a female cop! Somehow she let his ass go!

Went kayaking with Mark (tour guide) in Fajardo

Sahana and me, Soni and Shasank kayaked, bioluminescence bay

Mark told us random facts about mangroves and we swam in the beauty of the abyss

All of us swam and saw the water glow with Dynoflagelletes.

Soni meanwhile sat and screamed about a fake iguana in her boat, yet she claimed she wasn’t scared

She said “Guys, there is something in my boat”

After chips and cookies, we went back to our car, Soni and Sahana decided to strip and complain about their bras in the car.

After that we drove back to Sue’s.

IT was a night drive in the rainforest; Soni had great “freaky” stories about her UCLA days

On the drive, we turned off the lights, and Shank freaked out

We saw 2 dogs sitting on a tablemat (perhaps they were wolves)

We stayed the night at Sues, Sahana and Soni stayed in a mosquito ridden room

July 6

We drove to the dock in Fajardo to board the ferry to Cuelbra

Ferry was backed, lots of chaos

We arrived at Cuelbra, everyone completely pissed at each other.

Shanko and Raj down with tents, girls were not in favor, because of some medical issues.

By the kindheartedness of Raj and shank, we worked diligently to find a place.

With the help of a police officer, we found Merrisa, wife of Modesto, owner of Coconut grill.

Although temperaments flared, we were starting to calm as we walked in the HOT heat to Flamenco beach.

The beach was simply put, beautiful. Pina coladas, hamburgers—the LIFE.

So as we waited for Modesto, we relaxed, swam, walked, read, explored…

At the end of the day, Modesto took us in his pick up back to his place.

On the way, Raj and Shanko were ready to rent mopeds

Shanko almost backed out cuz he freaked out about crashing the mopeds

Nobody trusted Rajal’s driving

Rajal was hurt, but reassured himself that he was the best driver in the group.

We had a nice time around the Island, and we ended up at Soni beach.

Girls rode moped.

Sahana nearly crashed. Soni was calm and collected.

Mamacitas for dinner;

The Setting was in the water, nice Puerto Rican jazz band, and cheesecake for desert.

Finally we returned home, relaxed.

Girls took shower went to bed.

Shasank and I drove into the night, to seek adventure, only to find stray dogs barking at us.

So we drove home.

Soni and Sahana slept…Raj and shasank talked about life outside.

July 7, 8

Next morning, sahana woke everyone up.

We met Richard, had breakfast at Café Isola

Went snorkeling.

Raj struggled initially, but eventually was on par with Shanko.

It was a mesmerizing experience snorkeling by the reef.

Soni and Sahana relaxed on boat, flirting with Richard.

Raj and Shanko forgot to put suntan on their backs, causing severe sunburn.

Came back via ferry, ended up at Lolita’s for dinner.

This time, Raj and Shanko didn’t take chances with the food.

Stayed in Condado by night, and Raj and Shanko went to club Rio

Saw some beautiful Puerto Rican women, and noticed how everyone freaks over there

They played a TIGHT Eminem and Bhangra remix.

Day in San Juan was spent site seeing, relaxing.

Planned to take a 5 mile walking tour, but Soni and Sahana were distracted by shopping.

Had a great time. Went to see El Morro (a big fort), ran through the lawn…in the rain

Dinner, drinks in a restaurant in dtwon San Juan

We toasted to a successful vacation...and were headed home.
